Short version: Some links on BoxForge point to Amazon. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — typically 3–4% — at absolutely no extra cost to you. Every penny goes back into keeping BoxForge online and improving the tools for our members.
BoxForge participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets websites earn a small referral fee when visitors purchase products via specially tagged links.
When you click an Amazon link on BoxForge (for example on the Filament Price Comparison page or the Filament Finder), the link includes a small tag that tells Amazon the visit came from us. If you then make a purchase within 24 hours, we receive a commission on that sale.
Commission rates vary by product category. For 3D printing filament and supplies — which is what most of our Amazon links point to — the rate is typically 3–4%.

No. Affiliate commission is the same regardless of which product you buy, so we have no incentive to push expensive items. Our price comparison page is sorted cheapest-first by default and always highlights the best value result — even if that's the cheapest option on the page.
We do not accept payment from brands or manufacturers to feature their products, and we never will.
Never. The price you pay on Amazon is exactly the same whether you arrive through BoxForge or go directly. Amazon pays the commission from their own margin — it costs you nothing extra.
